Mr. Olorunfemi Molehin

Olorunfemi Molehin received the B.Sc. (Hons) in Biochemistry, from the University of Ado-Ekiti Nigeria (2004), the M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry (Drug Metabolism &Toxicology) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria (2008), and his Ph.D.in Biochemistry from Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria (2019). He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department. Dr. Molehin has published over 60 papers in international reputable journals. He has over 500 citations in Google scholar with an H-index of 14. He has presented papers both oral and poster presentations in many local and international conferences such as EKSU, NSBMB, NYA, Humboldt, ASPET, IUBMB, SASBMB, FASBMB, SOT, and IUBMB-ENABLE conferences and attended several workshops locally and internationally. His research interest includes drug metabolism and toxicology, antioxidants and Phytomedicine. He is a member of several professional organizations like NSBMB, ASBMB, SASBMB, ASPET, SOT, British Pharmacology Society UK, Biochemical Society, UK, and NYA. He is a recipient of several awards, fellowships and grants like IUBMB-YSF Awardee (2022), Federation of Asian and Oceanian Biochemists and Molecular Biologists (FAOBMB)-YSP Awardee (2021), IUBMB-ENABLE Fellowships (2022 & 2023) ASPET (2023&2024) Biochemical Society UK, Science Outreach Grant (2022), TETFund-National Research Fund (2022). He has contributed as a reviewer for several international journals like Drug and Chemical Toxicology, Pathophysiology, Scientific Reports, Biomedicine and Pharmacotherapy. He is an associate Editor for Nigerian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Journals and Frontiers in Sustainability Journals, he is also a Mentor, at Africa Graduate Mentorship and Coaching Programme.
