Dr. O. F. Olorunniyi is an indigene of Ekiti State, Nigeria. He joined the services of Ekiti State University (EKSU) as an Assistant Lecturer in 2010, and before this time he had taught Biology for up to ten years in public secondary schools in Ekiti State. Dr. O. F. Olorunniyi attended University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria where he obtained B.Sc. (Hons) in Zoology (1998) and M.Sc. in Zoology (Parasitology) in 2003. He obtained Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Zoology (Parasitology) at Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria in 2020. Dr. Olorunniyi had earlier attended University Ado-Ekiti (UNAD) now Ekiti State University (EKSU) from 2005 to 2006 to pursue a Post-graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and was awarded PGDE certificate in 2006. Dr. O. F. Olorunniyi is a teacher indeed whose teaching styles usually arouse the interest of his students both in the secondary schools and the University. Presently, he is a Senior Lecturer and he has published articles credited to him both in local and international journals. The area of his research interests have been in the field of epidemiology and control of malaria parasite infection.
