Prof. Falegan, Christopher Rotimi obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the then Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti, in the year 1989. Subsequently, he pursued and successfully earned his Master’s degree in 1997 and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Microbiology in 2008, from the University of Ibadan and Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, respectively. Demonstrating an exemplary academic journey, he reached the rank of Professor in 2014, attaining the highest academic cadre.

With a primary research focus in Food and Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Prof. Falegan has made noteworthy contributions to his field. His research output includes publications in esteemed international and local journals. Furthermore, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape by supervising students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Prof. Falegan’s commitment extends beyond his research and teaching responsibilities, as he has actively served the university in various capacities, contributing to its growth and development.
