You are welcome into the Department of Zoology and Environmental Biology, Faculty of Science, Ekiti State University. The Department offers opportunity for students to discover their talents and confidently grow their carrier aspirations by driving their sense of curiosity. The Department has twelve academic staff with diverse teaching and research interests which cut across all the aspects of Zoology and environmental biology. The academic staff list includes Prof. L. K. Olofintoye, Prof. S. O. Adewole, Prof. O. Fagbuaro, Prof. J. A. Oso, Prof. (Mrs.) J. B. Edward, Prof. O. T. Omotoso, Prof. (Mrs.) A. A. Adewumi and Prof. (Mrs.) E. O. Idowu.  Others are Dr. O. F. Olorunniyi, the current Acting Head of Department, Dr. (Mrs.) F. A. Ola-Oladimeji, Mr. R. O. Agunbiade and Mr. K. S. Ayeni.  Currently, the Department offers B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Zoology and Environmental Biology. Similarly a Post-graduate Diploma (PGD) in Zoology and Environmental is offered for students with deficiency at undergraduate level or candidates of related disciplines who which to pursue M.Sc. in Zoology and Environmental Biology.
