Dr. (Mrs.) T. R. Omodara is an Associate Professor and the Acting Head of the Department of Microbiology, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti. She holds a B.Sc. in Botany from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (1995), M.Tech in Food Microbiology from The Federal University of Technology, Akure (2005), and a Ph.D. in Food Microbiology from Ekiti State University (2016). Dr. Omodara is an active scholar with over 40 publications in reputable local and international journals. Her research interests span Food Microbiology, Microbial Safety and Quality, and the development of innovative solutions for Foodborne Pathogens and Public Health. She is a committed professional and a member of several distinguished bodies, including the Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology (NISEB), Nigerian Association of Women in Science (NAWASC), American Society for Microbiology (ASM), Nigerian Association of Microbiologists (NAM), Society for Applied Microbiology (SfAM), Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), and the Rural Sociological Association of Nigeria (RUSAN). As a dedicated academic, researcher, and mentor, Dr. Omodara continues to contribute significantly to teaching, research, and service in the field of Microbiology.
