Dr. Oluwadare Akinyemi had his first and second degrees in 1997 and 2001from University of Ibadan  and his Doctorate degree in 2021 from Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.

With over twenty (20) years in academics, he teaches Statistics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has served and still serving in academic communities at various capacities, contributing to growth and development. His area of specialization is Sampling Techniques. He has over thirty publications in local and international reputable indexed journals and has participated in local and international conferences.

Administratively, he was examination officer between 2002 and 2006; a level coordinator between 2002 and 2024, the departmental Postgraduate coordinator between 2022 and 2023. His services outside the university include member, Board of Elders in Christ Apostolic Church; Community Leader at Ilokun Estate, Ado Ekiti amongst others.
